Uplift's mission is to provide students with the tools they need to enter Grade 10 Math and English with a strong base. Students will have access to these tools for no cost and a commitment time that is significantly lower than what they would gain in something like summer school. We know that in the past students have had difficulty with the transition between junior high and high school as there's quite a sizable jump in the curriculum. This leads students to lose confidence in their skills. We believe that the programs that we've developed help students in making this transition.

 

We are also using our blog to provide students with information about the transition between junior high and high school, and high school opportunities, coming from the perspective of high school students. This includes information about programs such as IB, AP, school run clubs, and external opportunities for students.
